Free food
Ask someone a trick question sometime. "Where does food come from?" If they answer, "from farms and the earth and gardens" say "What, No food comes from the stoooore, jease it's a simple question." and answer the opposite way if they answer the opposite.
If you had a hydroponics garden in a green house you wouldn't have to worry about weeds or cold or bugs or animals or most disease. So a lot less work to do and bigger harvests.
Indoor pots may work just as good though.
Have a covered open air eating area next to the greenhouse for eating fresh food with no fridge.
Fruits
Vegetables
Gathered nuts
Dried meat
Water
Imported stuff: Soda, ice, milk, cheese, chocolate, honey, butter, ice cream, bread, mayonaise, ketchup, hamburger, hot dog,
Free heating and cooling
Free phone/communication
These could then be used as walkie talkies.

Storehouse barter population
So basically there is a store house that has all items that we use. The stockpiles should be kept at a optimum level by replacing items as they are used. When an item breaks you get a new one and it is replaced. These items are made by us when we get the call to go to work. Everybody in this society works the same 4 hours a week or so(this is a wild guess). If you can't even work 4 hours a week then there's something wrong with you, and you should live elsewhere. That means that this society is broken up into segments of the population that carry out different functions of society. All of the figures below are guesses of the actual percentages of the population that would be used.
2 way radios to know when to go to work. (5% of population to make radios and direct workers when to work) The only reason to use this over cell phones is that cell phones aren't free yet.
All fresh fruits and veggies grown in automated hydroponics greenhouse. Meats are caught in the quantity needed and eaten or smoked. All food is then placed in a communal eating auditorium.( 5% of population to make).
Water comes from a rain catch
No trash is made
Have solar pasteurizing toilets
Only 2 wheeled vehicles so that there are never bad accidents or insurance. (15% of population for fixing and making)
LED lighting. (1% of population to build)
Solar energy, not much is needed.(2% of population to build/install)
Housing are stone structures with wood roofs. (10% of population to build and repair)
Medical(50% of population for schooling, all doctors jobs, technology, and care of the facilities)
Have a police/army force(5% of population) that is controlled by top decision makers proven to have good critical thinking skills in their field of expertise(5 people or so)
School is the same way as now more or less. (3% of population)
Entertainment is the same thing we have now. (1% of population to make)
Internet is unneeded. Except for reading what I've written here.
The only thing I haven't figured out is washer/dryer, and showers.
Now there's no more crime, and no more hurry to get anywhere, and we can all have vacations for most of the year. Have fun sleeping in every day!
Please vote positively if you think this has any chance in this universe of working. But if you disagree please write a comment explaining why these ideas don't work so that future readers can weigh that new information when voting.

Super Laser and Energy Revolution
Here's another link to another way to start the energy revolution, and some drawbacks of the super laser.
It was just announced on the colbert report so I had to look it up on the internet and apparently we have created a super laser that focuses amplified ultraviolet onto a lens that then shoots the ray to a target. Almost like the death star. But that's only the tip of the iceburg. This new technology means that they can create the heat and pressure of the core of a sun but on earth in a reactor which means that we now have nuclear fusion when we focus that beam onto a container of hydrogen. Not only that but it's clean and safe energy and it's infinite and can be made from water as a fuel source. See my article on the final revolution is...
Okay that's one benefit, but there are many more not to mention undiscovered potential possibilities. One is hand held ray guns like in buck rogers. This would do away with the manufacture of bullets restriction that the gov. is starting. But this doesn't ensure that our government won't still turn on us. See this introduction to objectivism video to see why. Also what if we used this fusion energy to power a space craft that went to mars in only a week and didn't even have to wait for the orbits to align between it and earth every 2 years. And this large power source isn't contriversial to send into space like nuclear power was. Also if there is infinite energy then you could artificially warm mars or make gas out of the rocks on mars. Making terra forming possible.
One thing that they mentioned in the video link was "high energy density" research. Which I have always hypothesized could be used in certain ways to bend the physical properties of our universe. Making superconductors and super-fluids and gravity altering and diamagnetism and all superpowers possible. See: Actual hover-board and real flying car for how flying saucers will work using real science. And maybe even making aluminum able to withstand an asteroid impact and also radiation proof, in other words making long distance safe space travel possible. This is all theoretical. But look at my record, I predicted that we would find that gravity distorts time in my very first article ever, which I recently found out was proven by the shapiro delay. And this was why the outer galaxy only appears to move faster. Therefor no dark matter exists. Also see: general relativity for more on subjects like this. Also see: How all of the project serpo technology works for more of my wild ass theories.
This also means that we can all fly when we have other energy sources that power our jet packs indefinitely and we can migrate like the birds or live the high life by flying in food to exotic locals. This in essence puts an end to scraping to make ends meet when all we need to worry about is paying for food and devices. We will now have time and money which equals fun. Or self actualization as Maslow's hierarchy of needs describes.
Later added: In reality we will still have to pay for the energy coming from the fusion reactor because even if it's free after the machine is built there is still going to be a bill in the same way that there is still a bill for cable and phone service indefinitely after the system is built. But at least we have a higher standard of living now than we used to, even if we still pay bills.
The only way we will ever truly have cheap inexhaustible energy is if we have personal energy systems(I call it PES) This way after you first pay for the device it will produce infinite energy for you after the initial production cost. The old rule still holds true that "nothing is free", it can only become cheap or affordable.

EEStor Will Succeed!
The problem of the government getting rid of this technology in some way someday stems from the fact that it's an energy technology. Now they use oil to control people but with this capacitor technology the people in power will now be supplying electricity instead of oil as power. They will either have a monopoly on solar panels or a monopoly on their new NIF fusion energy source. Either way the people in power want to always keep their control over the masses in some way.
So when the stock is doing good and in the news the government starts saying something about the technology being a matter of national security, that's when you want to sell the stock and run for the hills because that's when eminent domain takes it over and the stock will be worthless.

Inventions for the future
But they are only theory until tested and proven.
Solar distiller: Has a cone shaped translucent top on top of a shallow pan that holds any distilled liquid, the undistilled or "dirty" liquid is inside of a cup in the middle of the cone enclosure. take cone off and use the liquid left in the pan. Utilizes: Condensation and the greenhouse effect.
Solar heater: Have a glass or acrylic box with a heat absorbent material inside of it like black rocks or cement chunk or whatever. Also have 2 small holes on either side of the enclosure one is the air intake side and one is the air output side. On the air output side you have a tube leading to the house with an on/ off nozzle inside of the house. And even further beyond that on the roof of the house you have a chimney which uses Bernoulli's principle to force air upwards providing the air flow needed to force the hot air inside. Utilizes: Greenhouse effect, heat retention, bernoulli's principle.
Later added: I now think that the better way to make a house now is in the ground or in a mountain as a cave house. This way you never need any air conditioning at all. So instead just use the following invention as a distilled water maker.
Free air conditioning and free distilled water as a biproduct: The simple version for AC only is to have a tube inside of a bucket with both ends leading out of the bucket, then fill the bucket with gravel and then fill with water(the water is a good conductor of heat). Then bury the open lid plastic bucket 10 feet underground. have a mesh cage on the outside end of the tube to keep bugs out, and have the other end of the tube inside the house with an adjustable on/off nozzle. And beyond that there would be a chimney in the roof that uses bernoulli's principle to create the air flow necessary for the underground cooled air to flow into the house.
Later added: I recently revised this invention to only be made of small tubing, which means that it is self draining because as air flows through the thin tube and creates condensation along the way, and the water droplets grow bigger, eventually the water droplets will get big enough to block the air flow in the tube, meaning that the water will be pushed all the way out of the tube by the air flow, and into whatever container you have at the other end.
However, this would always create condensation inside of the tube because of the temperature differential. So to take advantage of this you would have a small container in the bottom of the bucket with the air tube entering and exiting this small distilled water container. As the water collected in this container, being the low point, it would then go into one more tube leading out of the bottom of the distilled water container and up above ground and into another bucket that had an open top which also acted as a chimney, so that when the wind blew the bucket would have a lower air pressure, effectively you are now converting low air pressure into a water pump(like sucking a drink out of a straw). I call this aerodynamic pumping. To pump to greater heights you need a bigger chimney top and a thinner water tube.
Also translating the aerodynamic pumping invention into a way to automatically water plants is fairly straight forward. Once you have built up water pressure it's only deciding what to do with it(automatic sprinkler). Also have an artificially dug storm water retention pond to supply water into perpetuity.
Utilizes: Bernoulli's principle, condensation, stable year round underground temperatures, conduction, artificial pond, aerodynamic pumping

Drive-By-Wire, AC Induction Motor, Ultra-Capacitor, GPS
Steer-by-wire (A.K.A. Drive-by-wire) is:
- More energy efficient
- Less maintenance(almost none)
- Reprogrammable for different steering preferences.
- Can also be 4 wheel drive
The AC induction motor is:
- The highest torque motor
- The most energy efficient motor
- Maintenance free
- Except it still needs AC energy to operate, which makes a complicated circuit that's hard for an amature to build. But it's still a solid state circuit(no moving parts) and shouldn't break when built right.
Ultra capacitors are:
- Solid state(will outlast you)
- Most efficient conversion of energy into moving a car
- Able to go further and faster than a car if you add more capacitors
- Lighter weight than any battery
- Able to hold more energy than any battery
- Made of non-toxic eco-friendly(green) materials
- Would also be the portable energy source of everything in the future
GPS is:
- A better speedometer
- Solid state(won't break)
- Extremely cheap one day
- A replacement for maps
- Low energy usage
- Programmable
- Cheap soon
Helicopters are the way of the distant future when we finally invent an easy to use and build version of one. The only moving parts in a helicopter are the rotors(rotors may need to be tilted in some designs). Making an electric helicopter should be possible with Ultra capacitors. When you need to get from point A, to point B, there's no more need to ask for directions because you just go in a straight line there(B-line?). Also with drive-by-wire(All electric, programmable controls) it may be easier to program the controls so an average Joe can learn to fly a helicopter. Also no more need for infrastructure like roads or even runways. The only thing to worry about is down drafts in certain weather conditions. On the billions being spent on public mass transit infrastructure, you could instead spend it all on a fleet of helicopters.
Helicopter's are:
- Very time efficient when travelling on a schedule
- In no need of any infrastructure(make them now, use them now)
- Easy to navigate
- Possibly capable of having the controls programmable, so that anyone can drive-by-wire
- Maintenance free except for rotor bearings
- Not good when you need to watch out for down drafts, and other crash hazards.

Antimatter
There are some theories though, and I will post them as I find them.
The best reaction would be a one step reaction. Find a material and mix it with another material in the perfect environement and it will make large quantities of antimatter. That is the ideal circumstance.
It's not very far fetched to imagine this when there are fusion reactions that transform particles into different particles, and that there are chemical endothermic reactions and exothermic reactions. Looking at the real properties of barium titanate makes you question what can and cannot be done theses days also.
One theory has to do with the material known as helium 3 that we can acquire on the moon, but if we used that for a stable fusion reaction and put lots of money into fusion research then we may well find new reactions that have byproducts which include antimatter.
The current way of making antimatter is to accelerate electrons until they collide and create a new negatively charged anti-hydrogen atom. But there may be other more efficient and predictable methods that we may find in the future that can be scaled to mass produce antimatter. As long an fusion energy works and gets funding for new nuclear physics experiments beyond fusion.
Antimatter occurs naturally in the van allen belts of earth and also at gas giants like jupiter. See: "antimatter" on wiki under "cost".And if we can somehow find a way to store the antimatter(encapsulated in neutrons) and use it, then we may have free energy if the antimatter can be reused based only on its "potential energy" which has reverse effects in the physical universe making new electrical and particle aplications and experimants possible with this new material of totally alien properties. See: "magic rectangle"
Also see my other antimatter post.
And "The final revolution is...".

The Free Store
Things are cheaper when they are mass produced, but this requires big expensive machinery and infrastructure. Therefore individuals don't ever invest large amounts of money into these complex machines to get something for free later on. Only large businesses do, because they're in it for the profit.
Services would never be free but "goods" can be free indefinitely after the initial up front investment in machinery or equipment that makes them.
So hopefully if nice people would either donate equipment or money for equipment, then someday we may have a "free store" in every neighborhood. Some businesses sometimes donate things like old doughnut machines for free, that they don't want anymore, as long as you take it off of there hands. But then you also have to take on the task of refurbishing it.
Some examples of things that are free after you own the equipment are:
(1)Rain water sanitized by a UV tube and solar panels, or distilled by a heating element and solar panels.
(2)Ice from the store is free if you have an electric ice maker hooked up to solar power.
(3)Wood can be free from fallen trees in a nearby forest that you can get admitted into for collecting free wood. But always be sure that the forest is big enough for the population size, so that you don't deplete national resources.
(4)Solar charging stations for electric cars when the new ultra-capacitor tech comes out in 2009(from zenn cars). Also electric cars have almost zero maintenance and last longer than normal cars from less moving parts. So driving could be essentially free one day. And you wouldn't even need to buy a rental car for trips, from no worries of yours breaking down.
(5)Some foods can be free if they're planted behind the store. Plant foods such as: Black berries, strawberries, blueberries, fruit trees (in there natural climate:apple/banana). veggies: cucumber squash, lettuce herbs, potatoes, onions. All of these foods require almost no maintenance and practically grow themselves, and last for years or forever without needing replanting. Cider can be free if you bring in old apples that are fallen off of a tree and then the machine presses out the juice and pasteurizes it. Same with apple sauce. And dried fruit can also be manufactured for free if you brought in the fruit to be dried. Frozen french fries could also be made free, from a machine out of free potatoes that the customer brought in. You can make many full sized potato plants out of only one potato by just cutting up the potato and its eyes into sections and planting.
(6)Recycling plant to make free paper products and free plastic products, and maybe even free metal products. After people have separated out their garbage into different material piles, then the trash collectors, from the free store, pick it up for free.
(7)Chemicals that are automated to produce are distilled alcohol, and caustic soda/"drano" from electrolysis of salt water. You just need the equipment and the solar panels. Hydrogen and oxygen and chlorine can also be made in this way.
(8)Free wifi internet connection in the store. That's normal for businesses these days though.
(9)You could have free video and game rentals if you bought them at their marked price with real money, and then you can return them at any time as long as you still have the receipt. And these things are donated to the store originally. This is the same thing that modern libraries do really, which is just as good. But the clerks work off of the tips from every bought video.
(10) Yeast can be made into a colony that lasts indefinitely, and as long as you have flour(which is cheap) then you can make infinite bread out of one batch of yeast, with a solar powered bread factory.
We may not have everything done for us for free anytime soon but gradually as new technology is developed then more things will be produced for free, by machines, for us. It's just a matter of putting those machines in public possession instead of corporate possession. What's the good of brand name anymore anyway when HP and Dell printers have their printers engineered with planned obsolescence and are loosing face because of the ink cartridge chip scam that they never told anyone about.

Joke machine
Then type in key words into this portable joke database like "cow + ckicken", and it will automatically come up with a joke that has those 2 words in it. The joke comes up on the screen and then you either read it to your friend or press the "next joke" button and it comes up with the second most relevant joke which uses those 1 or 2 or 3 key words.
you may also have a USB cord that can get downloaded jokes from the joke machines website. This could also charge the portable joke box.
Another version of this invention is a robot that spontaneously tells jokes all the time and has a personality of its own. For this it would recognize key search words with speech recognition software.

Actual Hoverboard And Real Flying Car
The following is the post that I submitted:
I recently saw on the show Mythbusters on their "anti-gravity episode" that they used a technology called a "lifter" which was able to float in the air by means of an ionic wind(NOT Antigravity). Also I recently heard about a solid state fan that uses the same ion wind technology, and which can also outperform regular fans in weight and power. So theoretically if you were able to somehow get enough lifting energy from ion wind then you could make either a toy car that floated around on ion wind, or you could make a full sized hover board. But in fact if enough power was possible someday you may even have a rocket pack version, to get from place to place in the future. The draw backs of this technology are:(1)It may not have enough power to lift a person in a compact device.(2)It uses very high voltages(20,000V's). (3)It has a bi-product of Ozone gas from the corona discharge used to make the ion wind. Also you'd need to have DC to DC step up voltage circuit that some technical people might know, which is also in a portable unit along with the battery. But also stabilizing the platform has to be worked out, in some kind of self stabilizing arrangement of electro-aerodynamic pumping.
artZ, Sep 12 2008
Other useful info is to search solid state fan, and electro-aerodynamic pumping. I also theorize that with high enough energy you could make a full sized vehicle float a few inches above the ground.
But if you wanted the vehicle to fly it would be a different technique. If the top of the vehicle was the sharp emitter electrode and the body of the craft was the blunt collector electrode the ion wind would be forced to travel downward around the craft, or from top to bottom, creating upward lift, using the "coanda effect". Here's a link that explains the coanda effect and the theory of flight better through actual simple experimentation. But in short when air is pulled downward to travel along the surface of the craft, by the flow of ions, the equal and opposite reaction of pulling air down also pulls the body of the craft up. The actual shape of the craft is only important for horizontal aerodymanic flight and has nothing to do with lift force. So the only lift force is from the coanda effect created by the ion wind which was itself created by a very powerful DC electrical generator, inside of the craft.
The following is from wikipedia under corona discharge:
Corona discharge usually involves two asymmetric electrodes; one highly curved (such as the tip of a needle, or a small diameter wire) and one of low curvature (such as a plate, or the ground). The high curvature ensures a high potential gradient around one electrode, for the generation of a plasma.
Moving the craft side to side is a different matter though. Which I don't have a solid theory for yet. But it may use the same ion wind technology, with highly charged movable capacitors located inside the craft. Used to offset the charge on one side of the craft making the air flow alter, or reconfigure around that spot, on that side, which would make that side move forward from a change in ion wind flow around it creating a pressure differential. But no solid math that works for that theory yet.
Also the source of power needs to be large which we currently don't have the energy technology for yet other than nuclear. It may be possible to have high voltage Alternating Current also, but because of the alternation it would only have pulses of ion flow. This may be useful if it is true that at high enough frequencies(20,000hertz or above) current then cannot flow through the human body, because of the human body acting as a resistor at that high of a frequency.
But also on the problem of high energies being dangerous to humans, as long as you're suspended in the air and your body doesn't touch the ground then your body won't conduct the energy to the ground and therefor no electric shock. The power line maintenance crews know this trick, and use it all the time(See: "High voltage" under "power lines", on wiki). So always jump onto highly charged objects to not be touching the ground at the same time as you're touching the charged vehicle or object.
Also in making the craft one solid seemless peice of metal for no moving parts or chance of breaking and also for aerodynamics, you would still need some way of entry into the craft. Superfluidity to go straight through the walls of the craft would work, but has never been substantiated as a real technology yet. But suposedly high enough electrical charge mimics the same properties of a plasma(high amount of electrons) and maybe even superfluidity as well. It's just an unsubstantiated hypothesis at this point though.
I do know that at high enough voltages though you get an effect that mimics superconductivity, with very low electrical loss. Because at high voltages the electrons have high potential energy and are static charges and therefore since they are non-moving electrons they have less wire to run into and get resistance from. But then of course it may be releasing that stored energy in the form of photons from the ambient glow that high voltages naturally create. By the way that's how you light the inside of the craft, in order to never have to replace lightbulbs. I call this effect "spontaneous emission".
I used to think that high (+/-)static charges were the same as gravity and anti-gravity, because they both share so many similar characteristics, but now that I have the above verifiable theory, I no longer think that anti-gravity is involved with UFO's, and instead think that it is ion wind. But for space travel they have to use something different, which I no longer have a good theory for. Even though static electricity still shares most of the same physical properties as gravity. There's just no solid evidence or theory for anti-gravity yet. So for now it anti-gravity is still an unsubstantiated hypothesis for space flight.
The only substantiated UFO picture that I've ever heard of is the one that was on the cover of time magazine in the 50's and still cannot be disproved or disputed. It was called the mcminnville photos, so that is the design of craft that I got this theory from. Also on wiki.

News To Keep Track Of, For Further Advancements.
Optical memory or optical data storage or wiki: Will lead to denser data storage
Optical computers: Faster more powerful less need for cooling computers. Watch light wave logic stock.
"Super laser" or "National ignition facility" or "(NIF)" or "Super Marx generator" : For new infinite energy or space travel or ray guns, etc.
"John Kanzius" : This is for the cancer cure of the Kanzius machine. Which is now getting funding for further testing. Also see: His organizations website.
"EEstor" Or, "Zenn Cars" : For developments in ultracapacitor technology.
"Mimic Resveratrol" : For new anti aging medications and how they work is currently being studied. We may live as long as the Japanese soon.
"Biometrics" : If and when they discover a type that you cannot forge, then identity theft will be a thing of the past, as banks adopt this, as well as grocery stores.
"Nuclear Fusion" : This technology is currently being developed by the top scientists in the world for infinite clean energy. But this is "vapor ware" that they may or may not have a breakthrough in for a while.
"OLED" : This is going to be the next type of TV and also lighting for every room in the house and will be very, very cheap to buy, eventually. Invest in GE or Fraunhofer Institute, for OLED lighting, for dividends not for growth. This market will be massive when the tech is here. Also see a prediction post.
"Solid state fan", or "Electro- aerodynamic pumping" : This is a new technology that may invest in if possible, and which may one day be used for hover boards, or rocket packs, if enough thrust is possible. This is the same technology as "lifter" technology that is shown on youtube, and which the "Mythbusters" proved is NOT anti-gravity(See: Antigravity episode).
"Active Building Envelopes(ABE)": A new theoretical form of passive temperature moderation over any structure except the windows. made out of thin film solar panels combined with thin film peltier effect materials. Being made at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). And the National Science Foundation is supporting them.
"Artificial gecko hairs or skin" or "gecko tape": Huge advances are being made in this field.
"Solid State Drive(SSD)" : Made out of flash memory drives and is solid state and efficient, but for now it is very expensive.
"Johnson Thermo-Electrochemical Converter System", or Google it for more news/info : This I found in Vol.185 ,No.11 issue of popular mechanics. Its a solid state thermoelectric generator, and may be more efficient than a sterling engine. Or the most efficient thermoelectric conversion possible (or "ideal" efficiency)within the second law of thermodynamics. If this is as compact, and light weigt, and compatible as solar panels then it could make a solar heat powered car!!
"Acoustic fridge", or "Thermoacoustic refrigeration" : Currently cost $10,000, but hopefully one day will replace the modern fridge when mass produced because they are solid state with no moving parts, and are quiet, and efficient, and eco-friendly.
On youtube look for:
"Variant edition" Or, "Comicbook reviews" : To save you the trouble of buying and reading bad comics(Sort the videos by date added). Also go on "myspace darkhorse comics"(free comics)

Artificial Aquifer
The stones would be sterilized with chlorine and then left to dry, and the deeply dug sand would be dug in layers and each layer dug into separate sterile piles with a newly cleaned shovel for each pile for most predictable sterilization levels.
And the water would be collected from the underground cistern through a pipe or straw or some other better and easier to install technology. This cistern would be located right next to the house for ease of collection instead of going to the store for jugs of water.
This would essentially try to copy the exact same function as modern aquifers, which are everywhere in Florida already. For a do it yourself way of getting limitless fresh water anywhere except in the coldest regions.
This idea may never be able to be improved upon for the cause of infinite, free, fresh drinking water. If the theory is someday proven correct, probably by me if nobody else tests it.
Also see wiki for artesian aquifer.

Fuzzy Philosophical Equations
I also predict that one day certain psychology based versions of these insights into the human thought process that I call "Fuzzy philosophical equations" may one day be adapted to making artificial intelligence programming either possible, or just more compact and quantifiable.

Best Form Of Travel
But in reality the sky can have infinite traffic, and is safer and also when done correctly. You may need a runway but there are natural runways such as beaches and lakes.
Now the vehicle that is best built for air travel:
Helicopter: Is expensive to build and maintain, but is also potentially dangerous because down drafts are possible, and they are less efficient at getting from point A to point B because most of their energy is used in upward lift. But this vehicle still has its applications for if you have no runway and need to get to extremely inaccessible areas such as mountains or forest.
Airplane: Is another expensive type of air craft, and they usually have a lot of moving parts and need constant maintenance. But they are good for hauling heavy loads and can be pressurized and heated inside of the passenger compartment. Also they are the safest form of travel known to man other than maglev trains.
Ultralight: Is can be easily constructed, and has less moving parts that can fail or need maintenance, and is efficient at getting from point A to point B. But it is not able to carry heavy loads, instead this is more for recreation and maybe short trips around unpopulated areas.
But what I think is the pinnacle of personal transportation is a very powerful ultralight of some kind(my favorite right now is the motorized hang glider). The power would let it haul heavy loads. As long as you didn't have the fear of heights. But any future ultralight will have "AC induction electric motors" and ultra capacitor energy storage. This type of device has almost zero maintenance, and can only break if it crashes. Watch out for tall grass getting caught in the propeller though.
I consider this the safest and most user friendly and the cheapest form of future transportation for a world without roads. But that's just an imaginary world. So instead I just will get one of these ultralights of my own, when I'm rich. And I might live in Alaska where I can go to secret lakes and charge my ultra capacitor energy storage with photovoltaics. And there's never a need to worry about parts freezing because the capacitor is solid state and also the motor only has bearings as the only moving part.
Or I may instead choose to go to hidden deserted tropical islands with my ultralight that is equipped with pontoons. But I'd have to bring survival gear and live off of the land.

Rushed Lifestyle
A car called "Eclectic" has already been made that is 100% solar powered.
But in the far distant future, in the best utopia possible, we would all have personal helicopters that wouldn’t break down and were easy to pilot. And we’d need infinite energy for them, so that they’d have enough power to take off with any weight and go any distance. This I believe will one day be possible with new energy technologies.
There might also be a market for a new invention of solar paneled motorized modules that pulled a chariot or a carriage behind them and the more power you needed the more horsepower worth of drive modules you would attach to your vehicle.

Things That You Can Acquire When Rich
A perfectly manufacture multijunction solar cell that is 70% efficient at light capture can go just as fast as any other car on a sunny day. And doesn’t even need batteries and has regenerative breaking and infinite air conditioning off of solar panel energy.
Or have a ultra capacitor car that can be charged with solar panels. Or at night when energy is cheap, and which has an AC induction motor that never breaks down and regenerative breaking and no oil needed in the car or moving parts other tan bearings that ever break down.
Have an ultralite aircraft powered by supercapacitors and live in alaska where you don’t have to worry about the engine or batteries freezing up because they’re solid state and can work at any temperature.
Or just have a helicopter to not have the need for roads. Which is the real way of the future.
If you have a fortune then put it mostly into government municipal bonds, for an income off of your millions. Then put only a small amount into speculative stocks.
Have a top of the line robot to learn to perform tasks around the house for you.
Get the top of the line entertainment systems such as OLED screens but that will be an extremely cheap technology soon as well as OLED lighting.
A Holy Grail Stock
Super capacitors: Will be game changing in the energy storage industry. They never degrade, have instant charge times, are almost 100% energy efficient, and even can have more energy density than the best batteries theoretically. Look to the new super capacitor being invented right now from EEstor on wikipedia. (A.K.A. EEstor inc.). And they will also be in a new vehicle made by the company Zenn. It may also be wise to invest in the companies stock of Zenn or EEstor before they multiply and split by an online stock trading site like "E*trade"that should be reputable because of them being able to put commercials on TV. I was recently looking on youtube under "EEstor" and they said that ZENN automotive stock is a speculative stock. And that it's at 4$ right now and if the technology didn't work then the stock would drop to 1$ but if the technology did work then the stock price would rise to 20$/share. And I plan on investing at least $1,000 in their stock because if it works I will be able to buy one of their cars with gain in stock value. But I'm also willing to take the risk of loosing the money, because I believe in the science as being just as important of a new technology as fiber optics were when they were invented. Here's the stock info page. Also Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, on this Wikipedia page(Wikipedia is, I'd say, 99.8% fact) is a venture capital investment firm who counts Google and Amazon among their early-stage successes, has also invested heavily in the company. Look under their investments for where it says Eestor as a 2007 investment. And also Lockheed Martin is investing in EEstor for sole use of the patent in the US, in the military, see: This press release. Look to EEstor, inc.'s private company information page also. And also since watching almost every video that they have on youtube under the search "ZENN car" I now have confidence in investing in a company that is as professional as them. Even if the bigger car companies out there will one day overtake them, by getting license to the same capacitor technology. Also definitely read the press releases on ZENN motors website, under "news". http://www.zenncars.com/

An Unfinished Artificial Intelligence Idea
When it is invented, will make more money than anything. Because then robots will be able to perform complex tasks for us(cooking, cleaning, fixing, building). And will be able to be friends to us.
Communication: Robots would communicate to each other through tones in the same way that “R2D2” does. This is a much easier to decode language that would be captured by hearing devices. And may be translated to us through a translator earphone. And we can also talk to them or ask them a question. This may require a new, and less complex language than english for a robot to understand questions and sentences.
The way to make a learning robot is cause and effect and to learn from mistakes. Positive reinforcement and negative reinforcement.
Questioning, as a means to learn the universe around them: To fill in blanks left in the robots universe, it should ask us, Who what when where why. Because we don't know what it knows or doesn't know unless it asks.
When they know that gravity effects objects then they know to aim above an object they are throwing a ball at, in a parabolic arch.
Vocabulary: They must have a vocabulary to be able to describe the universe around them. Each word is given a tonal code in order for us to tell it that work in tones and for it to translate those tones into the word.
The robots must always ask why about everything, and store the answer, to know the answer to that question later on in life.
Vision: must be just as good as ours and they must be able to know what they are seeing and also predict that objects actions. But vision may not be necessary for a mostly talking robot. Also objects can have Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Chips on them so that the robot can know what the item is and that items properties so that it knows how to handle that item. And later on it can learn what the item looks like and not even need the RFID chips at all to recognize something.
Also you need a "spacial actualization program" in the brain knowing where an object is and what shape it is and how big it is in relation to you. That's where 3-D vision comes in handy. If your robot sees a stuffed animal they need to be able to recognize what it is without turning it around which means being able to fill in gaps of information with assumptions. Magic isn't possible also so the robot needs to differentiate between plausible explanations of what the object is and reject implausible explanations. For instance filling in the blanks when asked "What is in the front yard right now", it's usually not answered with "a pink elephant".
And they need a way to differentiate between different shapes and be able to make up novel descriptions of newly shaped objects attributes that they come across. And be able to differentiate the relevance of different attributes of an object. Example: To recognize a teddy bear we see it's facial features and shape and texture and we know that is is a teddy bear. So describing physical attributes is key to being able to recognize objects.
Neural memory banks: And the robot would tell you when its memory banks were full so that you could buy them another flash memory drive.
And we could copy their “mind” and download it onto a second clone robot.
Use it or loose it. When the robot hasn’t done something for a while it will forget (or "erase" if you will) that information making them have to problem solve again in order to find a new way of doing that same thing. Sort of like pushing the reset button on a video game. In order to come up with new novel approaches to solving problems.
Problem solving: Is done by having a goal and finding a way to reach that goal, which will not need second chances to accomplish. And if the attempt at reaching a goal fails you must consider risk and reward. If the risk is someone dieing then don't even attempt trying to reach your goal unless absolutely sure of success.
Problem solving, and real world based critical thinking, is key for original thought processes or sentience.
And imitation is key to passing, already perfected ways of doing things, onto new generations for a head start in life.
Eventually after a mass produced copy of an already advanced working learning robots mind is made it will be called a "personality chip" as a more specific term than just the generic term "artificial intelligence chip".
