Super Laser and Energy Revolution

Here's another link to another way to start the energy revolution, and some drawbacks of the super laser.
It was just announced on the colbert report so I had to look it up on the internet and apparently we have created a super laser that focuses amplified ultraviolet onto a lens that then shoots the ray to a target. Almost like the death star. But that's only the tip of the iceburg. This new technology means that they can create the heat and pressure of the core of a sun but on earth in a reactor which means that we now have nuclear fusion when we focus that beam onto a container of hydrogen. Not only that but it's clean and safe energy and it's infinite and can be made from water as a fuel source. See my article on the final revolution is...
Okay that's one benefit, but there are many more not to mention undiscovered potential possibilities. One is hand held ray guns like in buck rogers. This would do away with the manufacture of bullets restriction that the gov. is starting. But this doesn't ensure that our government won't still turn on us. Also what if we used this fusion energy to power a space craft that went to mars in only a week and didn't even have to wait for the orbits to align between it and earth every 2 years. And this large power source isn't contriversial to send into space like nuclear power was. Also if there is infinite energy then you could artificially warm mars or make gas out of the rocks on mars. Making terra forming possible.
One thing that they mentioned in the video link was "high energy density" research. Which I have always hypothesized could be used in certain ways to bend the physical properties of our universe. Making superconductors and super-fluids and gravity altering and diamagnetism and all superpowers possible. And maybe even making aluminum able to withstand an asteroid impact and also radiation proof, in other words making long distance safe space travel possible. This is all theoretical. But look at my record, I predicted that we would find that gravity distorts time in my very first article ever, which I recently found out was proven by the shapiro delay. And this was why the outer galaxy only appears to move faster. Therefor no dark matter exists. Also see: general relativity for more on subjects like this. This also means that we can all fly when we have other energy sources that power our jet packs indefinitely and we can migrate like the birds or live the high life by flying in food to exotic locals. This in essence puts an end to scraping to make ends meet when all we need to worry about is paying for food and devices. We will now have time and money which equals fun. Or self actualization as Maslow's hierarchy of needs describes.
Later added: In reality we will still have to pay for the energy coming from the fusion reactor because even if it's free after the machine is built there is still going to be a bill in the same way that there is still a bill for cable and phone service indefinitely after the system is built. But at least we have a higher standard of living now than we used to, even if we still pay bills.
The only way we will ever truly have cheap inexhaustible energy is if we have personal energy systems(I call it PES) This way after you first pay for the device it will produce infinite energy for you after the initial production cost. The old rule still holds true that "nothing is free", it can only become cheap or affordable.
