Things You Can Depend On

Like the old saying goes by Benjamin Franklin:

Our new Constitution is now established, and has an appearance that promises permanency; but in this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes.

So those are 2 things you can depend on but also there are others.

CEO's will always have to increase the bottom line. Making products more expensive and paying employees less, and cutting jobs or transporting them over seas. They will also cut benefits until there are none eventually. Say good bye to pensions for retirement like the general motors workers did.

Lawmakers have to make new laws. These laws are to help out companies or to make things illegal that don't hurt anyone. If they could find a way to make under the table transactions illegal they would.

Taxes always rise. Read my lips on this one. And when they cut spending yet still raise taxes that just shows how much politicians can get away with.

Crime only rises. A well known fact is that as the economy goes down crime rises. The only way crime goes down is if you move to a less populated area. In the 50's nobody ever had to lock their doors. The only reason we have locks is because people like to steal things.

Population only grows. God almighty is blessing us because every child is a miraculous gift from god. So then why is it a good thing that demand goes up and supply goes down because of this.

Insurance is a paradox. If you need it, you can't get it. If you don't need it, they'll happily give it to you. If you just want one check up per year that's already factored into the yearly cost so why not just pay the doctor directly. Even with universal health care we will still always pay the same amount to the doctors in the end. The only coverage worth getting is catastrophic coverage. But why pay for that when you can get it for free from state run medicaide?

The economy in America can only go down. Because we are now a world economy, all our jobs are being transported overseas because other countries are now building infrastructure. The dollar is becoming worthless. There is no way for entrepreneurs to succeed when there are monopolies everywhere in America.

Rents and bills only go up. Have you ever seen rents or bills go down?

Accidents will happen. As long as you trust other people in any way shape or form there will always be untrustworthy people or just accidents that they caused and you couldn't prevent.

Change is always for the worse. Based on all of the above, I think you'll agree with me on this one!

Rules and the Ruling Class

Rules do not reflect reality, because reality has no rules. Rules only reflect the people making them.

The golden rule: The people with the gold make the rules.

I want to live in a place where you can leave your car or house unlocked and never ever have to worry. Also where you can leave a bike on the side of the road without locking it up. We all do these things as kids until people vandalize or steal things and we learn not to. Also we assume everyone is nice as kids but soon learn through experience that everyone is an asshole for no reason. Then we eventually become one ourselves.

Politics: Cutting spending is not in any politicians vocabulary. They're in it for power and control, if you spend more then you have control over people because now "They owe you". The whole idea of monetizing the budget is so the gov can give people money, so that the gov will get more power. The gov buying GM and socialized medicine and all other aspects of society is all about getting more power. This has been called "Obamanopoly".

Money is just a measurement of power. If the government taxes 50% of your monthly income then you are 50% slave to them. And if they ever find a way to tax 100% of your money every month then you will be 100% slave to them. Also monetizing the budget is a way to tax without people knowing it. They print more money and now all the dollars in the US are worth less. And therefor the fed just took money out of your pocket without you knowing it.

The whole financial crisis in California is a good example of where this country is heading. The whole problem would be solved if they cut spending. But they can't cut spending because that's not in politicians vocabulary. So now they have to sell off parts of the state, and legalize marajuana so that they can tax it. They now have a "Sin tax" where eating twinkies is taxable(the twinkie tax). The cost of cigarettes has just gone up $1 a pack as a sin tax, alcohol is the same. It's getting so preposterous that you'd have to be insane to live there. But it's a shame that someday that's what every state in the US will look like becase politicians only want more power and will never want less power. Which is exactly what our founding fathers were trying to avoid.

Rules and the ruling class:
Rules are another form of power. It's the way the man keeps you down. We have so many stupid rules now, and it keeps getting worse. Do the rules protect us? Or are they proposterous? Are rules the only way for society to function?

You're always seeing rich and powerful people in the news these days breaking the rules, and not just that, but getting away with it. Preachers being anointed by God to no longer be gay after being caught. Governors caught cheating on wives, and just saying they're sorry lets them get away with it. Even in these trusted positions with all this power, where we need the most trustworthy individuals, we have them doing untrustworthy things. Even the presidents, like Bill Clinton getting impeached. And Nixons Watergate. Can we even trust our supreme court justices when during every state of the union address they never clap or show any opinion or emotion either way as if they were vulcans. We all know that every human has opinions or emotion, and we're supposed to believe this. How is this fakery trustworthy.

Even when the powerful elite break the law they just make it top secret. If nothing ever officially happened then it can never be against the law, can it. See my top secret post.

If you're rich you don't have to follow the rules. There are no consequences.
When Paris Hilton broke the law and was supposed to go to jail she instead was allowed to stay under house arrest for a few days in her multimillion dollar mansion and then she was off scot free. If the rich have a criminal record it doesn't matter because they won't need to apply for a job any time soon with their net worth. And if they have to pay bail that's nothing. What's a few thousand dollars to a multi millionaire? Why should we follow the rules, if our ruling class doesn't?

What's the point of enforcing the rules if even when you punish a criminal they still commit more crimes afterward as repeat offenders? The 3 strikes you're out rule is a good solution to this though.

People will always follow the rules anyway. Just keep the right group of friends. Because we all have networks of friends, if we ever do anything to hurt anyone then their friends will eventually ask questions and find out and punish you. This also means that you can have rumors spread that are untrue and make enemies for no reason, with the wrong group of friends. Example: Blair witch trials, and tribal witch doctor culture. So our society with no rules would be as bad as tribal culture with law enforcement. Minus any reason cause a fight other than magic, or killing for no reason.

"Where there are no people there are no rules." So if all else fails and martial law is in sight, head to international waters or a developing country in the wilderness, to get away from it all, until all the dust settles. See my survival checklist for how to survive.

I have a little theory though, to solve all of these problems of rules. It's so simple, that it might just work.

Are Czars Being Appointed?

Where in the constitution....?

(Note: They don't call themselves "czars", they officially call themselves "policy advisers".)

I have a simple question that no one seems to be able to answer: Where in the Constitution does the President of the United States of American get the power to create "Czars" who are answerable to nobody except Obama, have the power to control by edict, and are in charge of virtually anything Obama wants, without any type of oversight? We're NOT talking about cabinet positions here. Cabinet candidates must be approved by congress, czar do not. They answer to no one but Obama.

Here is a list of the czars that Obama has appointed so far. I'm pretty sure this will NOT be the final list.

Here is Article II, Sections 1-4 of the Constitution where Presidential powers and limitations are spelled out. Am I missing something? Or, have we offically thrown the Constitution out the window? Do we have a President, or should we give a more appropriate title to Obama?

Article II

Section 1.

The executive Power shall be vested in a President of the United States of America. He shall hold his Office during the Term of four Years, and, together with the Vice President, chosen for the same Term, be elected, as follows:
Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress: but no Senator or Representative, or Person holding an Office of Trust or Profit under the United States, shall be appointed an Elector.
The Electors shall meet in their respective States, and vote by Ballot for two Persons, of whom one at least shall not be an Inhabitant of the same State with themselves. And they shall make a List of all the Persons voted for, and of the Number of Votes for each; which List they shall sign and certify, and transmit sealed to the Seat of the Government of the United States, directed to the President of the Senate. The President of the Senate shall, in the Presence of the Senate and House of Representatives, open all the Certificates, and the Votes shall then be counted. The Person having the greatest Number of Votes shall be the President, if such Number be a Majority of the whole Number of Electors appointed; and if there be more than one who have such Majority, and have an equal Number of Votes, then the House of Representatives shall immediately chuse by Ballot one of them for President; and if no Person have a Majority, then from the five highest on the List the said House shall in like Manner chuse the President. But in chusing the President, the Votes shall be taken by States, the Representatives from each State having one Vote; a quorum for this Purpose shall consist of a Member or Members from two thirds of the States, and a Majority of all the States shall be necessary to a Choice. In every Case, after the Choice of the President, the Person having the greatest Number of Votes of the Electors shall be the Vice President. But if there should remain two or more who have equal Votes, the Senate shall chuse from them by Ballot the Vice President.
The Congress may determine the Time of chusing the Electors, and the Day on which they shall give their Votes; which Day shall be the same throughout the United States.
No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.
In Case of the Removal of the President from Office, or of his Death, Resignation, or Inability to discharge the Powers and Duties of the said Office, the Same shall devolve on the Vice President, and the Congress may by Law provide for the Case of Removal, Death, Resignation or Inability, both of the President and Vice President, declaring what Officer shall then act as President, and such Officer shall act accordingly, until the Disability be removed, or a President shall be elected.
The President shall, at stated Times, receive for his Services, a Compensation, which shall neither be encreased nor diminished during the Period for which he shall have been elected, and he shall not receive within that Period any other Emolument from the United States, or any of them.
Before he enter on the Execution of his Office, he shall take the following Oath or Affirmation:--''I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.''
Section 2.

The President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the Militia of the several States, when called into the actual Service of the United States; he may require the Opinion, in writing, of the principal Officer in each of the executive Departments, upon any Subject relating to the Duties of their respective Offices, and he shall have Power to Grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offences against the United States, except in Cases of Impeachment.
He shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, Judges of the supreme Court, and all other Officers of the United States, whose Appointments are not herein otherwise provided for, and which shall be established by Law: but the Congress may by Law vest the Appointment of such inferior Officers, as they think proper, in the President alone, in the Courts of Law, or in the Heads of Departments.
The President shall have Power to fill up all Vacancies that may happen during the Recess of the Senate, by granting Commissions which shall expire at the End of their next Session.
Section 3.

He shall from time to time give to the Congress Information on the State of the Union, and recommend to their Consideration such Measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient; he may, on extraordinary Occasions, convene both Houses, or either of them, and in Case of Disagreement between them, with Respect to the Time of Adjournment, he may adjourn them to such Time as he shall think proper; he shall receive Ambassadors and other public Ministers; he shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed, and shall Commission all the Officers of the United States.
Section 4.

The President, Vice President and all Civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.

How to make your own country

Build it based on basic principles of human nature:

1. People always do what they believe is in their own best interest even if that just being happy by helping others.
2. People will always work toward improving their standard of living and becoming wealthy, which is why socialism doesn't work.
3. Will trade with others that can do other things better than themselves.

To invent new things I do it for charity but others may want to get rich off of it, which is when it may be necessary for the good of the one outweigh the good of the many by letting the inventor get a patent and sole ownership of the invention as an incentive for them to invent in the first place.
Then make a currency that is based on something trustworthy. If you can print as much of it as you want then it requires faith that you have to hope everyone believes in. So instead use something that you know is valuable such as gold or artwork or a limited amount of unique coins to create rarity as value.
Some forms of currency could be:

• gold unique stamped coin currency is the most trustable.
  
• salt
• Stamped game machine coins
  
• Unforgeable ink stamp on paper of limited run of papers
  
• Or trade reprints of pre-comics-code horror comics as currency for all anyone cares.
  

By the way this is a good way around sales tax and the freedom coin and hours worked credits and burning man project are taking advantage of this principle.

Then buy land, or an island with enough land to house and feed the people living in your country.
And maybe pay for taxes with an interest earning fund of the amount needed every year.
To get around taxes just renounce your citizenship and live on a yacht on international waters and go to uninhabited islands for recreation and food. Also to not pay property tax on a house you can build a floating house on the water, even next to land. To not pay luxury tax on a ferrari you can sign the title away to a friend for cheap and then have them give it back to you somehow and you technically don't own it anymore, and won't know you're still driving it. When buying an island it will have no electricity or buildings or water or sewer and may just be solid rock. But if its only you on the island then you don't need a sewer system. Also with all of the spare time on your hands, building the rest should be easy at working 8 hours a day like at a normal job.
Also the biggest and most productive country has always won all of the wars. But if nobody else is after you then you will have no wars to worry about.

Capitalism Gone Bad

The reason capitalism works is that we work in order to increase our standard of living and build wealth to one day not have to work anymore.
Socialism doesn't work because people are not creating wealth and are only sharing what already exists. There is also no insentive to work if all of your efforts are wasted by being given to the next guy that didn't work at all.
What if we have no more insentive to work in America?

The problem is that in America we don't have the same capitalism that the theory supports.

• We work but we don't increase our wealth or our standard of living.
• We have to pay a cable bill for eternity instead of paying for the actual cable box just once. Are we paying to be tortured by the constant commercials also.
• All heating and cooling is an expense that we pay to the utility companies forever, instead of just buying the solar panels once.
• We have to pay for water indefinitely instead of getting it free from the sky and boiling it with solar energy. There are many other alternative methods of retrieving water though. See : Artificial aquifer.
  
• We have to pay for jam and fruits indefinitely, instead of getting it for free from surrounding nature, and making it ourselves.
• We have to pay for fish forever, even when it's not fresh, instead of getting them for free from a lake or river. "MMM sushi!"
  
• We have to pay off a house for the rest of our lives, and maintain and update it, instead of making it, and then being done with it right then and there, FOREVER. Why go big? Just make the same size cabin as everyone has in Alaska! With free wood or cheap and green technology. See : R- value in Alaska.
  
• Retirement is not earned anymore, but instead we force our children to pay taxes for us when we start to get our social security one day.
• We have to pay an electric bill instead of having free infinite energy from solar panels that are maintenance free when they are installed with weather and tamper proof structure.
• If you can't save any money at all to increase your standard of living in any meaningful way then you might as well not work, and instead just live in the woods, because your chances are better for capitalism to work there, where you keep what you produce, and you build your standard of living as you work. just think of what you could achieve at 8 hrs/day working on a tree house or on a garden.
  

All of our efforts these days are put into maintaining our standard of living, not into raising our standard of living.
The problem is when we're are adapted to city life, then we've also forgotten how to live independently in a rural life. Also some of us have never had the option of living outside of the city.
Is America all of a sudden "dependent", and no longer "independent"?

Proof That Congress Is Incompetent Or Corrupt

If there is only one right decision or course of action for any issue. Then it stands to reason that when congress never gets anything done because they can never agree on any issue, that half of the people in congress are either incompetent or are deliberately making bad decisions for Americans. So much for them being the best and brightest. I tend to think that half of them are corrupt and that explains the bad decision making.
Educate yourself to make decisions on facts alone and not emotions. If we all agreed on everything because we all shared the same fact based opinions then there would never again be war or even arguments. Also some decisions are into uncharted territory, so there is no reference to know for sure that it's the right decision. This is the difference between "theory", and "facts" that are proven experimentally.

Rules

Being dependent on others means that you have to follow any rules that they make. Independence is always a good thing but may be looked on as craziness in modern society. People have started living in cities and forgetting how to provide for themselves.
Animals are completely independent so they don't need to follow any rules. If they kill there offspring, nobody cares, or even if they kill and eat their own species nobody cares.
Some democratic and capitalist societies are better than the chaotic anarchy that animals live in.
But in other socialist, and dictating, and communist societies, are worse off than living as an animal because there is absolutely no freedom or independence whatsoever. Look to a previous post on this subject that was done better: "Control"

There are good rules and bad rules. You should never rob others or kill others are good rules to follow. But these rules should be a given and you shouldn't have to be reminded to follow them. But some bad rules are ones like making responsible gun ownership illegal. In other words no more right to bear arms.

Rules only work if they are enforceable. You can always forge the purchase price of a new car that you're buying on the title, to pay less taxes. You can fake your income by having under the table cash payment. You can put your money in a safe deposit box before you die, in order to not pay a death tax and for your kids to get all of it. And they will never check your house under your pillow every night to know if you actually do have a loaded firearm for your own protection(if a new gun law was enacted).
Just about any law that law enforcement doesn't have evidence of you breaking is an unenforceable law.

The burning man movement that takes place every year is all about trading stuff through bardering, under the table, to not have to pay taxes.

In Canada they started taxing cigarettes to make more revenue, and it worked. So they started taxing it some more and they made more revenue. And since they were even greedier they started taxing it some more, but then the revenue started going down. "How could the revenue be going down?" They asked. Well it turned out that people started buying and selling cigarettes on the black market.
